July 2026 

Update: New Filters & Upcoming Releases 

The catalogue has been updated with several new filtering and search capabilities: 

  • Filter on Number of Unique Individuals has been added to the More Filters section. 
  • Support for filtering and free-text search on the Role and Name of an Other Responsible Organisation has been introduced. 

Further enhancements are currently in development and will be available in upcoming releases: 

  • Information boxes on filters and in the detail view to provide additional guidance and context 
  • A new filter for Temporal Coverage 
  • Updated display of Distribution and Analytics information 
  • Improved layout and presentation of Keywords 
  • An expandable tab for Dataset Series in the detailview 
     

June 2026 

Update: New Features & Improved Search 

The catalogue has been updated with several new features and adjustments: 

  • Dataset Series has been introduced and is now available as a (more) filter option, allowing users to filter datasets that belong to a dataset series (figure 1). 
  • Support for Samples and Analytics has also been extended. 

Changes have been made to improve usability and search functionality: 

  • Addition of age-based filtering with a slider (figure 2). 
  • Ability to search using labels from Coding systems and Conforms To, allowing free-text searches on code value labels. 
  • Removal of some filters (Distribution, Identifier, and Documentation) to simplify the interface. 

Further development is ongoing, including further integration with EU systems.

November 2025 

Health-RI Metadata Model v2 fields added to catalogue 

Per 3 November 2025 the catalogue was updated with a number of extra fields and filters from the Health-RI metadata model v2, which is based on the HealthDCAT-AP standard that will be required for the EHDS. Smaller further additions can be expected throughout the coming year, as the European standard is still in development.
