Citizen and Patient
The importance of health data reuse
A national health data portal provides users with a central source of information, services, support and training related to the use of health data for scientific research, policy-making and innovation. It also provides training and tools to increase knowledge on topics such as making data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and addressing ethical and legal issues when conducting research.
Data improves lives
The more we understand about patients' health, the better we can treat or even prevent diseases. Health data is vital not only for patients, but also for researchers, policymakers and innovators working on healthcare improvements. These stakeholders use health data to develop new treatments and create better healthcare policies and innovations.
