Information and advice to researchers and other professionals on ethical, legal and social issues surrounding the use of data and human tissue samples in scientific research.
The ELSI Servicedesk helps researchers, professionals, ethicists, legal experts and policy advisors to tackle problems in the field of ELSI (Ethical, Legal, Social Implications) by making information and advice available. For example regarding consent, participant information, applying the GDPR in research, pseudonymization of data, incidental findings, involving patients in the use of data, or what the EHDS will mean for researchers. The website of the ELSI Servicedesk contains a lot of information about this. In addition, questions can be submitted. (The ELSI Servicedesk website is in Dutch.)
