The Metro Line - Steps for your FAIRification workflow

    About

The FAIR principles were developed to make data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable, with the aim of promoting maximum reuse of (research) data. More information about FAIR can be found on the Health-RI website.

But where do you start with making data FAIR?  What steps are needed? What do these steps entail and, more importantly, how do you implement them?

The FAIR Metroline offers practical support to help you achieve your FAIR goals and make your data FAIR. Each step in the Metroline contains:

    • A short, accessible description, aimed at a general audience.
    • A section on required expertise, explaining what knowledge or support is needed to implement the step.

The required expertise can vary greatly per step and can consist of, for example, domain experts, software developers or legal professionals. Due to the time and specialist knowledge required, the support of a data steward is often essential. The FAIR Metroline helps you with this.
