Open Science Course PhD students
Project BOSE focuses on developing an introductory course in Open Science especially for beginning researchers. The course is primarily intended for beginning researchers within university medical centres in the Netherlands, but is also suitable for a wider audience. The programme covers the main aspects of Open Science, including the why, how and when, and is structured around the different phases of the research cycle.

This two-day, hands-on course on Open Science is specially designed for PhD students, with a focus on early-stage researchers within university medical centres in the Netherlands. The course is also suitable for a wider audience. Designed to be delivered in an interactive and realistic way, the programme focuses on the following learning objectives:
- Understanding why Open Science offers solutions to some of the (historical) challenges in science, and why it is important for both society and academia.
- Learning how to make your research more open, transparent, reproducible and inclusive at all stages of the research cycle.
- Gain an understanding of the benefits and challenges of Open Science so you can determine when and how it can be useful for your research.
